This is a bitter sweet post in a certain way because it was the last day Raye was in Halifax. Kristen had already arrived back in Australia and it meant that the next day we would be alone without two of our favourite women. Raye and I made the most of it though and she was able to capture some beautiful Mommy and Baby shots of Will and I that I cherish.
There are photos that I can’t wait to share with all of you. If you follow the link to Kristen’s Blog, you will see the family photos she captured on her last day in Halifax. The first time I saw them, I was speechless… breathless, really. I stared at them thinking that only a few short years ago, I longed for this beautiful family I saw before me. Back then, I would have done anything in the world to have a snap shot of this family and, yet, here I was looking at some of the most beautiful photos I had ever seen…. and it was all mine. I realized in this moment how lucky I was. Lucky to not only have every dream I desired realized but lucky to have two of the most talented women I know with us on that day to share in our joy and love. Not only are Kristen and Raye amazing and creative women, they are wonderful and dear friends who are so kind and giving. Really, two of the most beautiful people I know. LOVE LOVE these and the pics on Kristens blog are just breathtaking!! I have looked at them so many times and each time they make me cry!! Its so awesome that someone as truly wonderful as you finally had all your dreams come true!!! The love you both feel for that little boy just explodes out of every one of those photos.
