When we first discovered that we were indeed expecting a bundle of blue, we bought our baby boy his first outfit. I still remember that day like it was yesterday and I am so glad that I have a special photo of him in it. The beautiful blue knitted blanket he is laying on was knit by a very special mother of a friend. He, in fact, has many little pieces she knit for him and will be showcased as he grows into them! We have so many special friends who have sent so many heartfelt messages, cards, notes and gifts. It is so overwhelming. There is one special friend, Jen from By the Moonlight Creations who is an amazingly talented knitter. She sent a beautiful gift of knits for the little man which included the mossy green hat and grey wrap (I am still swooning over it!!!). The sweet and whimsical aqua hat was knit by a wonderful friend, Jude, and was one of the first gifts we received when we announced our pregnancy. The kindness everyone has showered us with makes my heart happy. Thank you all!
