No wonder I can’t seem to get a thing done these days… all I want to do is sit in the nursery and daydream. It is the most calm and sunny room in our home and it makes my heart infinitely happy. I can’t wait to introduce Baby Boy to the room he will call home and I hope he finds it as serene as I do.
*on another note… you can follow me on Twitter. I have never really been active on it but am planning to start using it more and if you want some up-to-date baby news, you should definitely follow me!

Ok Kerianne, I honestly think you can be a professional photographer and/or an Interior Decorator…amazing..beautiful…
Wow. Just wow. Absolutely stunning. Found your blog by fluke and glad I did! Congratulations on your impending arrival. Do you mind sharing what colour white the doors and trim are?
wow. what a perfectly gorgeous room!! I love every single detail. Have been stalking for a while…love your daily portraits of your sweet Will. Thanks for the inspiration!
Sure, Deanne! The white trim throughout the house is Benjamin Moore’s Cloud White. And thank you for stopping by!!!
Oh my goodness, Kerianne. This space you have created is so extraordinarily beautiful. It exudes serenity and peace, and I am sure your new little boy will sleep so soundly in it. Good luck with the last few days of pregnancy! Can’t wait to see pictures of the newest Brown.
Wow… Absolutely beautiful !!! I definitely know you could be a professional photographer and an interior designer!! Wow , I am lost for words!!! You should go into business !!!
This nursery is absolutely beautiful. I too loved sitting in my babies nursery and dreaming about them before they were born. Such a special time.
I read every post and love the pictures and the commentary about them. You capture Will’s innocence and wonder with every photograph.
Love the gray and yellow combination. Congratulations on your new little man. I can’t wait to see his pictures. I loved watching Will grow up each day and hope to see this little man each day as well!
All I can say is incredible. Equal or better than any magazine photographs I’ve ever seen!
WOW.. what a beautiful beautiful room… ( can you come decorate my house.. you know when you are done having babies and have some free time hahah )
e
Stunning, its so peaceful, I can see why you never want to come out there! You def have a knack for decorating, I love the little elephants throughout the room, beautiful
Kerianne,
So peaceful! You have many natural gifts! I can see why you don’t want to leave this sweet comfy room! I’m interested what piece you started with for decor? I love the tree, mobile and blanket/pillow pattern. Thanks for sharing!
Kristin, I started with the quilt and then quickly found the mobile shortly after. We really didn’t want to have to repaint the walls so I wasn’t sure if the blue-green walls would go with the yellow and grey but I love how it turned out!!! I am going to update the post later today with a shopping list of where I got everything and links where applicable! Thank you
Absolutely lovely nursery, each and every detail, so gorgeous! Love your site, first time commenting.
love it! the yellows and those elephants. too cute!
Oh, Kerianne,
the nursery is so gorgeous. I agree that it is very serene, and the pops of yellow really add to the room..I LOVE IT ALL.
This nursery needs to be featured SOMEWHERE! It is absolutely gorgeous, Kerianne! I can’t wait to see your newest little guy photographed in it!
so beautiful and serene – I would want to daydream in there all day too!
What a gorgeous nursery! I absolutely love everything about it especially the elephants and color combo. Congratulations!
Kerianne, it looks GORGEOUS! And congrats again! I keep looking and looking at this post. What a beautiful nursery!
Hi. Just wanted to say I’ve followed your website periodically after I accidentally found your website when looking
for a photographer. That’s all pretty funny…since I live in Alabama. At any rate, I still peek in every once in a while,
because your little boy seems to be just a little bit older than my own (Ben is 19 months old). And I so love, getting
a chance to see what he will be doing soon–in watching your little one.
On top of that, your photographs are absolutely wonderful. What a talent you have! So…just thought I’d say “hello.”
It seemed kind of rude not to.
Wishing you much happiness in your upcoming arrival!
All very best,
Cathy
What a perfect calm environment to treasure those first days of your new baby’s life. I so enjoy the photos you have shared of Will. New little man is going to be a blessing as well. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Your whole home looks lovely!!
maureen
Just found your website, love it and absolutely love the photos…
Kerianne, this is pure perfection. Colors, shapes, mood, everything. Your baby boy will be so happy to arrive here.
)
wow…such an amazing room! i can see why you would want to spend all your time there…so so beautiful! i have one question…the fourth picture down. i am wondering what lens you used? you were able to capture the whole room and i would love to be able to that as well. thank you!
Thank you all for all of the wonderful comments and notes on the baby’s new nursery! Mindy, in order to get the whole room captured, I used my 24-70mm 2.8 lens. I hope that helps!
So gorgeous!!
Incredibly gorgeous!
This is simply beautiful. Your images, and decorating shows exquisite taste
You will spend many happy peaceful hours here….
I have decided WHEN you finally get here, you’re going to redecorate for me. The whole house. Just warning you. You’d better plan on being here for a while…
xx
This is absolutely exquisite Kerianne!! Such a breathe of fresh air. Love, love love.
LOVE! I am pregnant and have been working on what I want the nursery to look like and this room is EXACTLY what I had in mind. Soft relaxing colors. I even had yellow as my accent color and have my mom working on a blanket. Thank you for adding the links on where you purchased everything. You are too kind! Congrats on the new addition, I can’t wait to watch him grow
Your son’s nursery is amazing — this is my dream nursery!
Congratulations on the arrival of your little one!
So beautiful! <3 What about the floors?? Wood? Laminate?
Thank you all so much! The floors are hardwood. Wire-scraped red oak in a dark stain.
Such a lovely nursery! I’m still working on the space for my LO due in July and thoroughly enjoyed your resources list! Where did you find the cooshee changing pad? I cannot find it in stock in any stores and I absolutely love the shape and easy of use.
Thank you, Sarah! I got it at a local baby store called Royal Diaperer. Best of luck with your nursery!
This is breath-taking!! Where did you find your bedding? Or did you pick fabrics and sew them custom?
Where did you get the dresser?! I would love to find the same one for my nursery!
I am sorry, Deidra, but it was second hand so I have no idea where the original owners purchased it. Best of luck with your nursery!!!
I LOVE this also!!! Am I missing it but where did you get the quilt and pillows? I adore this!
They’re from Etsy. A seller called Namoo. Link is at the bottom of the post!
I absolutely fell in love with the colors of this room. I would love to paint our baby room the dame color….. Though when I went to look for the Benjamin Moore “blue grass” color they didn’t have any paint by that name? Any help you could send my way would be amazing! Thanks
Holy gorgeous! You did such an amazing job on this! I’m totally going to feature this room on my blog tomorrow. I’ll link it back to your blog, of course!
Absolutely stunning, calm and restful space. Love it all. Please be careful with the beads on the cot mobile, I’m sure they’re secure. It’s freaking me out a little, had to mention it.
Wow! Love this room…everything about it! Was wondering where the wall deco came from next to the window on left? Thank you!
Thanks Holly! It is actually a wooden wall hanging that came from Homesense.
Thanks so much!
I just discovered this nursery, and I’m completely in LOVE! I am due with our fifth baby, and I just wish I knew someone like you to help decorate for this baby. What a talent you have!!!! I wish you did e decorating, and if you decide I’ll be your first customer
))))))
Your nursery is ridiculously gorgeous!!
Had to share: http://minipiccolini.com/2012/09/gorgeous-nursery/
Love!! Where did you find te black and white floral photos above the dresser?
Thank you! They are just the pictures that were in the frames when I bought them
I will be filling them with our newborn photos from Pastel Photography someday. I can’t wait for that!!!!
I am in love with this nursery, thank you so much for sharing. I’m expecting my first child early next year and have been scouring the internet looking for inspiration for the nursery. I’ve come up blank until finding your blog. It is perfect. I have a few questions.
1. What color did you order the tree decal in? Looks like white, but just want to be sure as there are similar options on the website.
2. Where did you find the Cooshee changing pad in that color? Can’t find anywhere!
Thank you so much!!!!!
Yes, the tree is white! And I bought the Cooshee change pad at a local baby store called Royal Diaperer. I hope that helps!
Did you use flat, eggshell, or semi-gloss with the paint? Love the room.
I have no idea. The builder painted it. It appears to be flat though. Thank you!
I love that mobile! Where is it from?
Valeri, just check the shopping list at the bottom of the post
Hi! I am expecting my first baby April this year and I’ve taken inspiration from your nursery! it’s the most beautiful and calm nursery I have EVERY seen!!! We don’t know the sex yet and although your nursery was for your little boy I feel I can tweak it if I need to, to be completely unisex! I am DESPERATELY in love with your chest of drawers although I realise It was a 1 off, is that right? I live in Australia and am dying to get a drawer set like that! anyone have any ideas where I can find it? Also, we are going to lay floor boards and wondering what colour wood are yours? are they a Jarra? Thanks so much!!!
Thank you so much, Fotini!!! That is so incredibly sweet of you to say! The dresser is one that I found second hand, unfortunately, but I do know that the name it is made by Drexel. The hardwood floors are made by a Canadian company called Preverco. The actual name of the wood is “wire-scraped red oak” in colour Madagascar. I hope that helps! Good luck with your nursery!!!
Thanks so much for your reply! I think the dresser will be out of the question to find although I will do my best to search for a style similar!
Once again, my husband and I have really been facinated by your work on this nursery! Thank you for sharing! I am so excited to start preparing ours!
Happened across your beautiful nursery on Pinterest. I agree with the others that it is perfectly serene! I am interested in purchasing the decal you used from Wall Slicks but read reviews that is was very difficult to apply to the wall (most likely due to it’s size). Did you find this to be the case? If so, any tips for making application easier? Thanks!
It has been almost three years since we put it up but I don’t remember it being extremely difficult. My husband and I did it together and didn’t kill each other.
I love the calming & relaxing feel of this room. So many sweet details.
Where did you purchase the shadow box for the bonnet?
It is from Homesense. If you are located in the US, I think that TJ Maxx is a similar store. Good luck!
Gorgeous nursery!! Any idea what the name and brand of wood floors are? I LOVE them!
Thanks Leslie! They are made by Preverco and called Wire-scraped red oak in colour Madagascar.
Do you like your glider? I love the look of it, but wondering from someone who owns one if they are as comfortable for rocking and nursing as they seem… beautiful nursery- everything goes together perfectly!
i love the way you designed the nursery. i sent an email the other day but not sure if you received it. i have a question about the pillows. is there a way to contact you by phone or could you ring me at U.S. – 616-843-5649? i’m in the process of decorating my baby’s nursery. thank you.
It is all so adorable! Where did you get the mobile? I didn’t see it listed.
Thank you so much, Ivee. There is actually a link at the bottom of the post with a link to the elephant mobile. It is from Etsy!
Hi Michelle, my email wasn’t working last week so unfortunately I probably didn’t receive it. So sorry about that. You can try emailing me now though. It appears that my email is fine now.
Yes, Jessica, we love the glider. It is very comfortable and easy to clean. I am short so I find it super comfy. If you are really tall you might prefer something with a higher back on it. It is one of my favourite purchases for our nursery.
Hi there, love your nursery!! It is stunning! wondering where you purchased your fitted crib sheets. I have a very similar quilt from Namoo and cannot find a soft yellow crib sheet like the one you have in your picture here. thanks!
Thank you, Dianne! The sheets are from Walmart. I was just there last night and they still have some!
I stumbled upon your blog on Pinterest and this room is absolutely everything I’ve dreamed of for my upcoming baby. Absolutely stunning. Wish I could put this together myself!
I know this was posted a long time ago, I have loved this nursery and color of the walls for a while now and i now have the option of painting and having the darnedest time trying to get that color. do you know what it is called and where you got it from? Please help
Hi Megan, it’s Benjamin Moore’s “blue grass”. Maybe google the name to find the paint code. I’ve heard of others having trouble finding it too. Maybe it’s a BM Canada colour? Good luck!!!
